Accuracy and transparency are central to GoldPricesGermany.com. This page explains how we handle error reports and keeps a public record of notable updates to our price calculations, methodology and legal guides.

1. How to Report an Error

If you spot an inaccurate conversion, a broken rate feed, or an outdated legal reference on any page, please let us know via our contact form or email [email protected]. Include the page URL and a short description of the issue.

Review time: Every report is reviewed personally by the editor, typically within 24–48 hours.
Corrections: When we confirm a factual or mathematical error, we fix it across all affected templates and languages (German, English and Arabic) and log the change below with the date.

2. Dated Changelog

30 Oct 2026	Added full German language version (`/de/`), published the Euro Gold Market Outlook commentary, added GDPR/TDDDG cookie consent controls, and standardized source and author attribution across all price pages.
29 Oct 2026	Published legal and practical guides on buying gold in Germany (§ 25c UStG, § 10 GwG), tax when selling gold (§ 23 EStG), and German purity stamps (FeingehG), as well as the Impressum.
23 Oct 2026	Precision update: Updated all per-gram and per-karat conversions site-wide (PHP templates, calculator and WebSocket script) from the rounded `31.1 g` to the exact troy ounce definition of `31.1035 g` (`0.0321507` oz/g; `32.1507` oz/kg), and documented the formula on our Methodology page.
23 Oct 2026	Replaced South Asian tola rows on the Germany homepage with metric weights (10 g, 100 g, 1 kg) used by German bullion buyers, and fixed a calculator USD conversion bug on non-ounce rows.
